Parental Draw for 2020 Postponed until Further Notice

Please note that the IRCC has postponed the sponsorship draw again because of the Coronavirus until further notice.

Interestingly, IRCC altered the program in 2017 to a draw format and invitation to apply model. Numerous individuals have been distress with this adjustment, swaying 70 individuals filing a lawsuit and later settling the case and issue invitations to apply.

Generally, the dominant issue since 2017 has not been the format of the program, rather allowing individuals who do not meet the mandatory income (MNI) to enter the draw. This has been the foremost issue the last 4 years. Furthermore, countless individuals are questioning why IRCC has not acknowledged this issue and fix the problem.

Every person has to stay tuned until IRCC gives an update as to when the draw will resume. To add, individuals are encouraged to follow IRCC on Facebook and Twitter to get timely updates.

At this time, please review the eligibility requirements to sponsor below.
